The wood deck across the back of the house had weathered past repair — soft boards, sunken framing, and a surface nobody wanted to walk on, let alone put furniture on.
The work
What we did about it
- Demolished and hauled off the old deck and framing
- Excavated and compacted the base to solid ground
- Formed the slab with slope away from the house
- Poured, finished, and added the connecting walkway
- Graded and cleaned up the surrounding yard
The result
An L-shaped patio and walkway that drains away from the slab and gives the family a usable outdoor space that will not need replacing again in five years.
